Frick & Schenley Parks
Students will dive into the fundamentals of outdoor living as they explore the forests of Frick and Schenley Parks. Activities include wood carving, map reading, and knot tying, helping students build confidence and practical outdoor knowledge. By the end of the day, they’ll return home with new skills and a deeper connection to nature.

Riverview & Highland Parks
Students begin the day in Riverview Park, where students will focus on campcraft, including tent setup, wilderness first aid, and Leave No Trace principles. After lunch, we’ll head to Highland Park for an advanced wood carving session, where students can craft intricate items like wands, spatulas, and feather sticks.

All pick up and drop off will be in the Point Breeze Neighborhood, Pittsburgh, PA. Transportation will be provided to all other locations. A guardian must sign their child in and out unless a walking waiver has been signed by the guardian.

Camp will operate from 9:00am to 3pm.

No, students must bring their own lunch and snacks. Water will be provided throughout the duration of camp.

No, no experience is required for any of our camps. However, please be sure to review the Essential Eligibility Criteria and Week Specific Requirements prior to registration on our registration page. By registering, you are confirming these Criteria and Requirements.

All activities will continue as planned, unless there’s inclement weather. Alternative options will be provided.

All participants must have an OIC Waiver, any outside partner waivers, a health form, and a transportation waiver.

Yes! We do not repeat curriculum for camp dates and each camp is different to ensure the most adventure possible.
